Doug Tuchman Tribute

Many of the longtime listeners will recall Doug Tuchman, who co-founded and frequently hosted Honky Tonkin'. He promoted live bluegrass music here in New York City and was a wonderful source of information on country and bluegrass music, in addition to being an all-around good guy. Doug passed away five years ago this month, so throughout October, WKCR will be remembering him by playing a series of interviews that he conducted over the years as segments within our regular country programming. We hope that you'll be able to join us by tuning in at 89.9 FM or at www.wkcr.org.

The current schedule is as follows:

Sunday 5 October
The Moonshine Show (10:00 a.m. to Noon) - 1998 Interview with Tom Paley
