2011 Country Music Festival!

This Friday (March 25) we kick off our annual Country Music Festival at WKCR. This year's theme is Western Swing. While the festival focuses mainly on the heyday of Western Swing starting from its inception in the late 1920's through the early 1950's, we will have many other segments reflecting its influences, connections, and legacy. We are also proud to present some great local Western Swing bands performing live on-air.

The tentative schedule is as follows:
